Leading the way in care for people living with HIV since 1986, Cempa Community Care has expanded to become a community health center to help all people fight all illnesses. The Cempa Community Care Clinic offers a full range of services including nutritional counseling, mental health counseling, laboratory services, and health maintenance for preventative care.

SERVICES OFFERED

  • Diagnostic Laboratory Testing & Health Screenings: Diagnostic lab tests (ex. Cholesterol Screenings), examinations (such as a blood pressure check), and learning your health history are important in detecting health risks before symptoms begin.

  • Immunizations & Vaccinations: Cempa provides common vaccinations to protect you from diseases like Hepatitis A or the Influenza.

  • Mental Health Counseling: Licensed Clinical Social Workers provide clients individualized treatment modalities (ex. Acceptance & Commitment Therapy or EMDR) to assist or guide clients toward resolving personal, social, or psychological problems.

  • Case Management: Cempa’s Medical Case Management staff coordinates a comprehensive continuum of care to assist clients in obtaining an optimum of care. This can be done by providing, coordinating, and assuring social support necessary to assist clients in maintaining their prospective health, safety, and well-being.

  • Women’s Health: Preventative and diagnostic services that focuses on the treatment and health diagnosis that directly affect a woman’s well-being.

  • Nutritional Counseling: Work with a Registered Dietitian to evaluate your nutritional needs and create individualized health goals based on medical history, developing issues or a new diagnosis. Learn More.

  • ADDITIONAL SERVICES INCLUDE: Pharmaceutical Services, Voluntary Family Planning, Referrals & Consultations, PrEP and HCV Treatment.

The clinic is open 40 hours weekly. The clinic is closed daily from 12:00 – 12:30PM. Staff are available for emergencies.

Cempa Community Care provides care for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured patients. Regardless of whether or not a patient is able to pay, we provide services and can offer payment plans.
