Todd Belk grew up in the Chattanooga surrounding area. He completed both his undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While in nursing school Todd worked in a busy emergency room as a nursing tech and quickly realized that emergency room providers don’t have the time to make meaningful connections with their patients. During his time as a registered nurse, he worked on a neuro ICU step-down floor and in wound care. During this time, he saw the value and importance of patients having a strong support system and the impact he could make when he was able to find meaningful connections with his patients and their families. As a nurse practitioner, Todd looks to create these same connections with his patients to guide them through their options when making healthcare decisions. His passion in healthcare is helping one create goals working towards bringing balance to both their physical and mental well-being through small but meaningful lifestyle changes. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and two dogs. He also enjoys hot yoga, standup paddle boarding, and running.
