What’s your current position and what do you do? National Archivist for Chi Omega Women’s Fraternity, Headquarters in Memphis, TN (since 2006)
I maintain the museum at the HQ, present educational talks and webinars, provide historical content for social media, conduct research, and procure items to add to the archival collection.
Professional Accomplishments/Honors Received:
2020 – Chi Omega President’s Award (Highest award given for service to the fraternity. Only 30 recipients since 1976)
2012 – The Don Harwell Award from Chattanooga CARES
2009 – Kate Hinds Steele Award from Chattanooga Area Chi Omega Alumnae for outstanding service to community
2008-2020 – Top Fundraiser for Chattanooga CARES “Strides of March”
1999 – Executive Director of the Arthritis Foundation, Memphis, TN (Special Events income increased 35% in one year.)
Family/ Hobbies & Interests: Live on Missionary Ridge in family home with wire-haired dachshund, Hoover. Travel, college football, food & wine.
