Kim Sargent, a Michigan native, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from George Mason University and received her Master of Sciences in Health Promotion from Marymount University. She continued her studies with the Virginia Commonwealth University and received her MSW with a Certificate in Aging Studies. Throughout her career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Kim has practiced in a variety of settings including K-12 public schools, university, nursing home/assisted living, prisons/jails, and private practice. In 2019, Kim began working with Cempa Community Care leading the way for our Behavioral Health programs and works with clients through a variety of Treatment Modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused, EMDR, as well as, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
