Jessie Kelly, LMFT

Jessie moved to Chattanooga from Mississippi in 2018 for the access to mountains and outdoor activities. She graduated from William Carey University with a Bachelor degree in psychology and a minor in Gerontology. She worked as a case manager for teens and learned quickly that she wanted to be able to help people on a deeper level. She decided to attend graduate school and received a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013 from The University of Southern Mississippi. Since then, Jessie has worked in an array of settings providing therapy services including intensive outpatient, grant programs with youth courts, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, psychiatric hospital, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and she also has a private practice. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1. She anticipates being completed with IFS Level 2 training by November 2022. Jessie is spirited about helping people find a healthy connection to themselves to advance self-healing. She decided to join Cempa to follow her passion of teaching others how to create and restore peace within to promote healing in communities.
