More than 15 years as a marketing and advertising professional in the Furniture industry.

Professional Accomplishments/Honors Received:

Born in Miami, Florida to Cuban-exile parents, he understands the importance of community and has made it his mission to unite and uplift. From preparing tax returns for low income Latino households, to his time spent on the St. Stephens Episcopal Vestry and the board of directors of Cempa Community Care, his multifaceted volunteer record clearly demonstrates his passion for improving the lives of others. Having relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2015, he has found his perfect place in “The Volunteer State.”

A passionate advocate for the underserved, Daniel currently sits as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Cempa Community Care. In 2017 he was honored as a finalist for the Latino Leadership Awards. In 2015 he was awarded a “Man of Mission” designation for his outreach efforts with St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. He founded the Young Adult Ministry for the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida, and was later honored by the Diocesan Young Adult Ministry for his years of service.

With a servant’s heart and a spirit of leadership, Daniel has co-founded and lead multiple organizations aimed at spreading the progressive faith and values of the Episcopal church. As the creator and leader of @OurTable Dinner Service from 2013-2015, he innovated a new platform for bringing young adults and Latinos into St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Coconut Grove, Florida.

Daniel is dedicated to changing the world for the better, one life at a time. When he is not channeling his energy into humanitarian endeavors, he enjoys hiking, and spending quality time with his partner, Peter, and their dog, Bronson.
