Marlee Clemens is a native of the Chattanooga area and a graduate of Chattanooga Christian School. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Georgia State University in 2012 she attended the University of Oklahoma for her Dietetic Internship working with various client populations. It was in building relationships with her clients and other dietitians during this time that helped shape her passion for food nutrition as a Registered Dietitian. In 2017, Marlee began working for Cempa Community Care as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) and is currently working towards her Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) Credentialing. As a member of the Cempa staff, Marlee works with many of our clients to ensure nutritional needs are met, and to counsel clients on building healthy food habits. She developed the “Meals With Marlee” program creating recipes and videos for clients to follow along using many of the products found in the Cempa Community Care Food Market. Additionally, she works with Cempa’s Outreach Team providing healthy snacks during our monthly Workout Jam Sessions.
