Chris Synder, PA-C, grew up in the Chattanooga area and completed his undergraduate work at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). He is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program. He cares about people. He enjoys helping people pursue their best selves through listening, building relationships and using his medical training and experience to help guide their journeys toward wellness. While he understands the responsibility and context of his role as a Physician Assistance, he tries not to take himself too seriously. He believe vulnerability and some degree of unsophistication catalyzes self-improvement and increases relatability. Reducing barriers, both real and perceived, is an important aspect of healthcare to which he gives specific attention. Ultimately, his goal as a healthcare provider is to be supportive and compassionate while offering evidence-based guidance in times of need, whether physical, emotional, or otherwise.
