Cempa Community Care opens first pharmacy, expands clientele
Both existing clientele and the general public can utilize their services on the third floor of 1000 East 3rd Street in downtown Chattanooga.
Nonprofit healthcare system Cempa Community Care opened the doors to its first-ever pharmacy.
Before opening, Cempa’s clinic patients had only been able to get their medications mail-ordered where they would sometimes not see a pharmacist.
Now both existing clientele and the general public can utilize their services on the third floor of 1000 East 3rd Street in downtown Chattanooga.
Cempa staff was on the front lines of the pandemic where they provided COVID-19 testing in low-income areas.
For 30 years, the nonprofit that serves about 1,300 patients per year has been on a mission to champion healthy communities, provide affordable, compassionate and high-quality care.
