We are thrilled to win the “Group Diversity & Inclusion” award from the Champions of Health Care program by Edge Magazine! (And for those of you keeping track, this is our second time earning a spot on this prestigious list.)
The Group Diversity & Inclusion award “honors an individual or company making strides in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion [DEI] in the local medical community,” and that’s precisely what our team sets out to do each day. Cempa was founded upon a desire to better serve marginalized communities, and that work has continued to evolve and grow over the past 30+ years. Today, our organization’s DEI efforts are guided by members of our internal diversity working groups and our formal DEI statement:
